Problem
- St Martin Church is one of the largest churches in India.
- During summer seasons the environment inside becomes hot and humid.
- Air movement inside the hall was very low.
- Wall fans were not suitable because they produce noise.

Before installation a detailed site survey was conducted to determine the ideal fan size and airflow coverage. Measurements of the hall area and ceiling height were taken to ensure the HVLS fan would deliver maximum efficiency.

Power Consumption Report
Power consumption was measured at different fan speeds from 20 RPM to 60 RPM. The results confirm that the Epoch HVLS fan maintains excellent energy efficiency while delivering strong airflow. Even at the highest speed the fan consumes only around 1.1 kW which is significantly lower compared to traditional cooling systems.
Input Current Report
Input current was recorded during different operating speeds to verify electrical stability. The current ranged between approximately 0.764 A and 4.8 A with a voltage supply of 230-240 V. This confirms stable and efficient operation of the PMSM motor system.
Airflow Performance Report
Air velocity was measured at multiple distances from the fan center. The results demonstrate strong airflow circulation up to 30 ft away, ensuring uniform air movement across the entire hall area.
The Epoch 20-ft HVLS fan was successfully installed inside St Martin Church providing powerful air circulation with minimal noise.
