  2. Continuous machinery operation increases heat, causing discomfort, fatigue, and loss of concentration among workers.
  3. Management needed HVLS fans to solve air blockage and improve worker comfort.

Solution

  • Installed 4 × Epoch 2.0, 24-ft (3-blades) fans with:
    • Motor: Epoch 2.0
    • Coverage Area: 17,000 Sq. Ft. (1,578 Sq. m)
    • Speed: 52 RPM
    • Peak Power: 1.1 kW / 1.5 hp
  • Fans operate quietly, efficiently, and are virtually maintenance-free.

Site Survey

A site survey is mandatory before any HVLS fan recommendation. The survey revealed the following dimensions:

  • Total Area: 200 Ft × 40 Ft = 8,000 Sq.Ft.
  • Floor to Ceiling Distance: 15–20 Ft
  • Selected fan size: 24-ft

Power Consumption Report

Power drawn at 20, 30, 40, and 52 RPM: 290, 390, 500, 648 W. Active power factor correction ensures real and apparent power are almost the same.
